Position Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Boilermaker to join our team at MF&E. This position requires expertise in welding and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety.

Key Requirements :

• Completion of a formal apprenticeship program or vocational training in boilermaking or a related field.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and welding symbols.
• Strong welding skills, including experience with MIG, TIG, and stick welding processes.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to all relevant safety regulations and procedures.
• Desired: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in boilermaking, metal fabrication, or a similar role.
• Desired: Experience with maintenance of heavy mobile mining equipment.

Job Responsibility :

• Heavy and light fabrication of metal structures according to technical drawings and specifications.
• Perform welding, cutting, and shaping of metal components using various tools and equipment, including arc welders, oxy-acetylene torches, plasma cutters, and grinders.
• Conduct inspections of materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and following safe work practices.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, including proper storage and handling of tools and materials.
• Document work activities, including materials used, hours worked, and any modifications or repairs performed.
